Opening night of The Royal Horse Show on Friday, November 4, will set the tone for our iconic 10-day Anniversary celebration.
The exciting evening schedule is highlighted by the Horseware® Arena Eventing Challenge and the $125,000 Henry Equestrian Canadian Show Jumping Championship. The Eventing Challenge, headlined by two-time Olympic champion Michael Jung of Germany, brings the exhilaration of jumping natural cross-country obstacles to an indoor setting, while the Canadian Show Jumping Championships will keep the crowd on edge with Canada’s top stars going head to head. Champions for both of these classes will be crowned on Saturday, November 5, which also features the All Breed Six Horse Hitch of Mares with Belgians, Clydesdales, and Percherons. Sunday’s program closes out opening weekend with the $15,000 Braeburn Farms Hunter Derby.
