Auchentoshan Bartender’s Malt Edition 02 makes a Lowlands Sunset

I think you’ll enjoy the two newest expressions coming soon from Auchentoshan - 1988 PX Sherry Cask Finish and The Bartender’s Malt Edition 02

Auchentoshan’s 1988 PX is a 29-year-old exquisite vintage that demonstrates the exceptional smoothness of Auchentoshan’s triple distillation process. Tasting notes include Corinth raisins, rich dark chocolate with Seville oranges and sweet sherry character. Matured for 29 years in Spanish Oak Butts and seasoned with Pedro Ximenez, this premium liquid is sure to please both single malt enthusiasts and collectors alike. Approximate retail value of $750.00.

Auchentoshan is also proud to release the second edition of the Bartender’s Malt, a specially crafted Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Twelve bartenders from around the world, known as the New Malt Order (NMO), came together to develop this bold new liquid. Andre Duncan, a bar consultant, and Nick Incretolli, from Bar Sazerac in Hamilton, ON, represented Canada in this global collective.

Tasting notes of this expression include orange wine, saffron, heather honey and black pepper and it lends itself perfectly to mixology. Below you will find the Bartender’s Malt Edition 02 signature cocktail recipe featuring notes of honey, citrus and red wine. Approximate retail value of Bartender’s Malt Edition 02 is $70.00.
