Sometimes referred to as the Full Cold Moon, brings a time of healing. According to the teachings of the 13 Grandmother Moons and the Ontario Native Literacy Coalition, during this time, we receive a vision of the spirits. We also are blessed with good health so we may walk the Red Road with the purest intentions so that we may share this most positive energy with our families and friends for the good of all.
This final full moon of the year is also called the Oak Moon, the Moon before Yule, and Long Night Moon — but it doesn’t coincide with the actual longest night of the year in 2024 (that’s on December 21st).
